On Saturday 2nd January 2021, Malta Freeport welcomed CMA CGM PALAIS ROYAL on its maiden voyage from the far east to North Europe.
This is the third ship of the Jacques Saade Class which are CMA CGM’s major initiative to reduce environmental impacts.
It is an LNG powered vessel and incorporates many advanced features in propulsion hull and operational designs to improve efficiency.
Nine vessels are planned in this class
CMA CGM PALAIS ROYAL is a Container Ship that was built in 2020 and is sailing under the flag of France.
It’s carrying capacity is of 23,000 TEU and her length overall (LOA) is 400 meters and her width is 62 meters.
