A record of 14,600 moves on the CMA CGM registered containership, Palais Royal, has been achieved at Malta Freeport.
The 400 meter-long LNG vessel who has a capacity of carrying 23k TEU containers- berthed into Malta Freeport on the 6th December and is heading to Marseilles- the headquarters of CMA CGM Group. Palais Royal was built in 2020 and is an LNG powered vessel. It features in propulsion hull designs to improve efficiency and contributes to reduction in emissions.
