The Malta Freeport Corporation participated in a clean-up in Birżebbuġia organised in conjunction with the Malta Freeport Terminals and in collaboration with the Birżebbuġia Local Council and other NGO’s from Birżebbuġia.
The event was held in line with the European Week for Waste Reduction, which aims to encourage citizens in Europe and beyond to carry out awareness-raising actions about sustainable resource and waste management during November.
Clean up activities were held near the Birżebbuġa Parish Church and the Local Council. In addition, several plants and flowers were planted as part of the work done. This activity is part of the Corporation’s CSR programme.
